Welcome to the Year of the Rabbit! We are looking forward to sharing this blog with you in 2011!
To start off the year, I thought I would share some ideas that came across my desk this week that seemed, at first, to be unrelated. At my house, we love bunnies and gadgets. My husband sent me this post about a new gadget - a smart baby monitor that beams images to your phone and lets you sing to your baby. Now, when you read that post, simply replace the word "baby" with "rabbit", and you see where we're going. For the past few years, we have been parents to a disabled rabbit. Our girl passed in September, but this is one gadget I would certainly have loved to have in order to keep an eye on her. It also reminded me of the story "Palmer and the Magic Box", a favorite of mine. Another thing I saw was this cute video capturing a day in the life of a bunny named Joey. As you can see, Joey has his own room and loves his hay (bunnies should have unlimited access to hay). It's fun to see what our bunnies do all day. I hope your 2011 is off to a great start, and you have fun spying on your bunnies.
