WOUNDED BUNNY NEEDS HELP!
Thursday 22 February 2007 at 11:25 amRESCUED!

Hi. I'm a darling little white New Zealand guy who got into some trouble a few days ago. I was brought into the shelter with a bite wound to my rear. It doesn't look pretty and I know that it isn't easy to treat which is why I try to stay calm, cool and collect whenever the vet techs are cleaning me up. See how I stand still for the camera woman too? So far, everything else about me is a-ok.
The type of treatment that I’m getting now is a bit of topical ointment and some oral meds, but I would need to go to a bunny vet if I can get out of the shelter. The volunteers who come to check on me say that I have a sweet nature and don't mind people at all. They feed me my greens and hay and I give them no problems at all! I am a fighter and tried to stay alive but despite that all, if I don't get out of the shelter, my efforts will have gone to waste.
I got a reprieve until this weekend, but after that...that’s it for me. I really want to find a foster or permanent home. Please help me!
If you are interested in rescuing this bunny, please call Donna Jensen, House Rabbit Society/Burrow Inn representative immediately. The contact number is (650) 994-7669 or via email at waltbda@aol.com. We have until this weekend, February 25, 2007 to find this little bunny a home. Thank you!
