Make Mine Chocolate! Please help out during this Easter Season!

As many of you know, House Rabbit Society has participated in an organization called Make Mine Chocolate for the Easter Season.  Easter has been particularly problematic as bunnies are often purchased as gifts and are either surrendered or "set free" once the appeal of the bunny as faded away.

This year we again bought the chocolate See's candy to sell.  I am looking to also buy vegan chocolate to sell .  If you are interested in selling the chocolate to co-workers or people you know please contact me via email: celinaandninja@yahoo.com.  Please indicate how many chocolate bunnies you would like to sell.

 We really need volunteers to man our outreach tables.  We are working with Pet Food Express to have a couple of stores host us.  We will be doing this to advertise for Make Mine Chocolate but we will also continue to use this locations to have fosters display their bunnies.  If you are interesting in helping me man a table for a couple of hours please let me know. celinaandninja@yahoo.com

We at the rabbit center are also frantically sending out press releases to local newspapers and newstations about the event so look out for us there.

We have also called the majority of the bay area radio station and our PSA may be featured in the following stations so listen for it and let us know if you hear it!
