February is "Adopt a Rescued Rabbit" month!

The HRS Rabbit Center still has some spots left for the "Using the Art and Science of Behavior to Enrich Your Relationship with Animals" class on Saturday February 5, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. This all-day class will give you the tools you need to have a more rewarding relationship with all the animals in your life--large or small, mammal, bird, reptile, or fish.
East Bay Rabbit Rescue will host "Year of the Rabbit Adoption Event" at the East Bay SPCA in Dublin, Saturday, Feb 5. If you are ready to make a 10 + year commitment to a pet, this is the perfect opportunity to adopt. Come out to the East Bay SPCA, 4651 Gleason Dr in Dublin from 11 am to 4 pm. Meet dozens of rescues of every color, size, age and breed! Please contact us if there is a particular bunny you would like to meet! Everyone is welcome. Participating Rescues & Shelters: East Bay Rabbit Rescue, East County Animal Services (Dublin), Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, Hayward Animal Services, and the House Rabbit Society.
Please join SaveABunny for a celebration of the Chinese New Year---The Year of the Rabbit fundraising party! On Saturday, February 5, 2011 4:00pm - 7:00pm at SaveABunny Mill Valley meet NEW bunnies and help raise much needed funds for their medical care. House Rabbit Society Valentine's Luncheon: Sunday, Feb. 13th from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at 311 Larkin Dr., Benicia. House Rabbit Society will celebrate Valentine's Day with a delicious luncheon, featuring: Smoky tomato basil soup with butternut squash, "Heart-y" salad, Ratatouille over rice, Raspberry cloud souffle or raspberry sorbet, Coffee, tea, or sparkling cranberry juice; wine $2 extra. NC Triangle Rabbits will host "NC Rabbit Day 2011" on Saturday February 26 from 10am-4pm in Cary. Local rabbit rescues will be there with adoptable rabbits. Come out for demonstrations, bunny matchmaking, a craft fair, a raffle, bunny pedicures, and free chocolate!
