"News Alert - Monkey Pox and Rabbits"
Please don't abandon your pet rabbit because of fears about monkey pox! The chance that your pet is infected with monkey pox is remote. Your rabbit must have directly contacted an infected person or animal to get this disease.
If your suspect your rabbit have been infected, please contact your veterinarian and follow his or her advice.
Remember that rabbits stay healthier when housed indoors. Under no circumstances should you abandon a pet rabbit outside.
