If you would like to receive the Journal on a regular basis, and get the current issue as soon as it is available, you can use the form below to become a member of the House Rabbit Society. You will receive the Journal whenever it is published, usually three or four times a year. You can expect to receive your first journal within 4 - 12 weeks of joining. The next issue is scheduled to be published in April or May of 1998.

Note:

You will not receive a written confirmation of your membership. Mailing confirmations takes money away from rescuing rabbits, so we choose not to send them. You'll know you're a member when you receive your first copy of the House Rabbit Journal. If you provide us with your email address, we will email a confirmation of membership.

The Journal is sent out every 3-4 months. If you send in your membership in as a journal issue is going out, or within three weeks after one goes out, you'll receive a journal immediately. Otherwise, you'll either 1.) get the last journal when enough new memberships have been received to do another bulk mailing or 2.) You'll get the next new journal that is sent out. In either case, you always receive 4 journals for each year's membership, even if in causes your membership to last a bit longer than a year.

There's a huge difference in the cost of doing a bulk mailing vs. sending the Journal out first class (14 vs 50 cents) , that's why the journals sent out to new members often take a few months, depending on the timing of when you send the membership request.
