These bunnies are currently available for adoption through the Rabbit Center. Drop by on Saturday or Sunday from 12-5 to meet our resident rabbits. Appointments are needed to meet fostered rabbits.

Weekday meetings are by appointment only. Give us a call at (510) 970-7575 or email us at hq@rabbit.org for more info or to make an appointment.

Biscuit

Biscuit is a little bit shy around new people, but he loves, loves, loves a good ear rub! This handsome little guy is definitely a trophy bun in the making. He's getting rave reviews from the Rabbit Center volunteers.

Juniper

Juniper is the official greeter of the Q room, but she's not too sure yet whether she actually wants to be petted. She probably just needs to settle in a bit and get used to having a steady stream of admirers.

Switch

Switch has a small biting problem at present. We all know that biters often turn out to be the best companions, but she will need the help of an experienced bunny whisperer to get past her issues.

Pretty Polly

Pretty Polly is a lazy girl. She spends her days lounging around her cage, and when she's out in the exercise pen she stretches out and relaxes there. If you need someone to remind you to slow down and smell the flowers, Pretty Polly's your girl.

Ms. Jitterbug

Ms. Jitterbug is a very cute and tiny girl but hasn't had much human interaction. She accepts nose rubs when she's got bars to protect her but gets scared when the door is opened. She's only about six months old, so she's got plenty of time to learn.

StayPuft

Stay Puft is a big, handsome boy who loves to be held and cuddled—he half-closes his eyes, snuggles up against you, and grinds his teeth so loud you can hear it across the room. What a sweetie!

Oscar

Oscar is a cat, as you may have noticed. He was our house mouser but has recently become overly enthusiastic about his job and started stalking bunnies. He's a high-energy young cat with lots of personality.

Astrid

Astrid is a very sweet girl who has been treated rather badly. Although she came to us in quite poor shape, she still loves people —she runs up to greet everyone who comes in and loves being petted. She will need some help sticking to her diet.

Malachite

Malachite is a typical teenager—friendly, inquisitive, full of energy, still learning to use a litterbox. We expect his hygiene will improve soon, and then he'll just be friendly and fun! He'd be a good family bunny.

Louisa

Louisa is getting on in years and would like a quiet home where she can settle into a peaceful life as a couch potato. If you want someone to snuggle with you while you read, Louisa would be an excellent choice. (SS)

Vashti

Vashti is a quiet girl. She loves living the carefree housebun life, consuming those great salads and lounging around the pen. She enjoys petting but on her terms.

Squirrel

Squirrel is an active bunny who loves to play. Given the slightest chance, he will jump out of his pen and race through the shelter. He's super friendly and always runs up to see who's visiting him. He'd love a teenage human companion.

Moonshine

Moonshine is a very sweet young guy. He is still growing into his ears, but is already turning into a lovebug. If you're looking for an outgoing and personable bunny to grow up with your family, this is your guy.

Hanahe

Hanahe is a shy boy. If you bring food or treats, he will overcome his shyness to come over, but generally he'd rather be left by himself. Perhaps he needs a friend to show him the joys of house rabbithood.

Xena

Xena is, as you might expect, an opinionated girl. She's a little saucy and needs a family who will appreciate her willful ways. She's looking for a home where she will have lots of space to practice her martial arts techniques.

Callie & Sarah

Callie & Sarah are best friends forever. They're a little shy, especially Callie (the Dutch girl), who prefers to let Sarah do the talking for both of them. They're looking for a quiet home and understanding people.

Elaine

Elaine is a people rabbit: she loves nose rubs, and will pay you back with bunny kisses. She's very friendly and loves meeting people--just come on in and say hello!

Larry

Larry is an easy-going guy who keeps a clean room and isn't too demanding (although if you could get him a cute girlfriend, that would be nice). Contact Elizabeth for more information. [Appointment required]

Aurora

Aurora likes getting petted as long as you don't take her by surprise. Just approach slowly and she'll be happy to sit and talk for as long as you want. She's a very sweet girl who is looking for a quiet home.

Cleopatra

Cleopatra will sit and snuggle for as long as you're willing to sit with her. All she asks is a little love and some room for binkying. For more information contact Crystal [Appointment required]

Persephone

Persephone is a beautiful big white bunny, and very sweet. She has vowed to lose a few pounds, so if you want company on that diet, Persephone is the girl for you. She'd love to share a salad with you.

Nicholas

Nicholas has been through some tough times, but he's cleaned up his act a lot since he came to us. He now has a luscious jet black coat and has turned into quite a cuddlebun.

Parsley

Parsley is a sweet and outgoing little girl, very playful and high-spirited. She has a lot of personality in addition to being very cute. She would be fine with children.

Dottie

Dottie is a sweet girl with a kind disposition. Dottie has been working out lately, and has lost 1.5 pounds—Oprah, watch out! Don't worry, though, she's still cuddly. (SS)

Millie & Sorcha

Millie & Sorcha are no longer young, but you wouldn't guess it from Millie's high-jump skills! Sorcha's more sedate and loves a good ear rub. This pair needs an understanding home where they can live out their sunset years. (SS)

Moe

Moe is a sweet boy with good house manners. He'd like a friend to keep him safe—Larry would be good, or maybe a cute girl! Contact Elizabeth for more information. [Appointment required]

Romeo & Juliet

Romeo and Juliet are looking for a home where they can live happily ever after. They're a happy young couple, full of high spirits, sometimes a little caffeinated but always loads of fun. (SS)

Greta

Greta is only a year old, but she's seen more than her share of troubles. She's made a lot of progress in learning to trust people but needs an understanding person to help her blossom. Greta is a Baxter Buddy.

Mimi

Mimi is a little shy but very sweet and gentle. She likes to keep a neat room and is very particular about her belongings. Please contact Terry for more information. [Appointment required]

Maggie

Maggie is a friendly girl who can't wait to meet you! She likes to keep her room tidy and neat. Please contact Terry for more information. [Appointment required]

Mikey

Mikey is a sweet boy who loves to be petted. He is widely known for his admirable poops (which he always puts in the litterbox)! Please contact Terry for more information. [Appointment required]

Carli

Carli is a spunky girl who loves to be petted and pampered. "Spoil me rotten" is her mantra. She is very clean and likes to be in charge of her space. Please contact Terry for more information. [Appointment required]

Lizzie

Lizzie is a demure girl with excellent litterbox habits. She is looking for a quiet household (no dogs, please) where she can pursue her interest in interior decorating. Please contact Terry for more information. [Appointment required]
