BUNNY-BUN

Hey lady, you have a rabbit on your roof.
That was bunny-bun alright. He loved to go out with his Kitty and spend hours under the wisteria bush on the carport, relaxing while Kitty explored the rest of the property.
On occasion he would fin dhimself in the yard nextdoor where there were new things to smell and chew before being discovered or being corralled by Kitty.

The first time Bunny-Bun followed Kitty out the attic window, over the peaked roof and onto the carport I thought I was going to have a heart attack. rabbits don't have the claws cats have in order to maneuver up and over roofs and fences. He did, however decide that jumping off the roof onto the ground down below was not much fun and not as easy as Kitty make it look. So, he did not jump off after the first couple of attempts. Rather, he would hang out on the carport and wait for Kitty to return and play with him.

Bunny-Bun's spirit lives on for me and is. In part, the motivation for HRS volunteering.
