Sunshine

When Sunshine came into the shelter, her fur was bleached bright yellow from spending way too long in the sun. She cowered in the corner of her cage, and when people picked her up she whimpered quietly and hid her head. Then, not long after arriving at the shelter, she gave birth to a litter of babies. The shelter decided to put them down. Things didn’t look good for Sunshine, either: the shelter was full, and who would adopt a sad, damaged, terrified rabbit?

Luckily for her, someone realized that all she needed was a little time and some kindness. She went into a foster home. It’s only been a few months, but my, how she’s changed!

To look at her now, you would never guess that Sunshine had known such hardship. She is an elegant and petite bunny with gorgeous chocolate fur and lovely brown eyes who is happy to sit on a lap and be petted. She seems to be patiently waiting for someone to take her home and treat her like the little princess she truly is.
