Sorcha (and Millie)

Hi! My name is Sorcha, and the wild bunny with the brown spots is my best friend, Millie. You may have heard that we got adopted. This nice family adopted us and took us home. I was so excited--a home of my own! Millie said she didn't care, but I think she was happy too. But then our people developed allergies, and they had to bring us back. So here we are back at HRS, in a little quarantine cage. And I have to wait a little longer for my forever home.

I really like people. I just love to get my ears scratched. I could sit and have someone rub my ears all day long. Millie would rather practice her high jumps or find a good place to dig. I think she could try just a little harder, be a little more polite to the people, so maybe they'd want to take us home. But Millie's not big on social skills. And sometimes she gets into a bite-first-ask-questions-later mode that doesn't go over well with humans. She does have her good points, though: she's always good for a laugh, and she's quite a track and field star (really, she's not on steroids!). And she's been a great friend over the years.

If you're looking for a middle-aged couple, one bunny for you to pet and one to keep you entertained, come on down and meet us. We could have a good ear-scratching session! I'll tell Millie to be nice.
